video content Image generated by Wilowrid

Hi guys , it's Nina .

And in this video , I'll be showing you how to draw a face .

Let's begin .

So I'm taking a two edge pencil and an eraser and this is basically it , this is what I'm going to use to sketch a face .

First , I'm going to draw a vertical line that will divide the paper into two equal parts .

And then I'm drawing a horizontal line a little bit upper than in the middle .

So I'm basically uh drawing guidelines and they will help us a lot to , to not to mess up proportions .

So the next step is to draw a circle in the middle of the cross we just drew and it doesn't need to be perfect .

Even I messed up a little bit .

As you can see , I put a mark here because this is where the nose is gonna be and the mark on top of the circle because it's the top of the whole head .

And by the way , while I'm joining , go check out my Instagram , I do a lot of different stuff such as denim painting , uh realistic portraits , everything .

So now I'm splitting the circle into four equal parts and the mark that is between the nose and the circle center is where the ice will be .

And because everyone's eyes are right in the middle of our heads of our face .

I'm measuring this distance , using my pencil and making a chin mark .

So we're halfway there .

It's time to make some outlines and decide if you're gonna draw a man or a woman .

I'm drawing a woman by the way to dry mouth .

According to all the rules , we need to divide the distance between the eyes and the chin .

And by the way , guys , if you like this video and if you find it helpful , please consider subscribing and pressing the bell on the eye guideline .

I'm making short marks and dividing the guideline into five equal parts .

So now we know where the eyes are going to be , which means it's time to make a nose box and to do it , you need to draw a line from the inner corners of your eyes to the nose guideline .

Before drawing the mouth .

Uh we need to draw the ice outlines and by the way , ears are usually as big as the distance between eyes and nose .

So I'm starting to sketch the ice now .

And if you're interested in a more detailed tutorial about the ice , I have one , go check it out .

So now if you draw two vertical lines from the irises to the mouth guideline , just like I'm doing right now , you'll see where the mouth is now the eyebrows because we're drawing the most perfect face .

And according to all those rules , the eyebrows should start above the inner corner of our eye and end between the outer corner and a temple .

I decided to add some details such as eyelashes , crease on of the eyes and here of course , so this is it , but don't despair .

I'll show you how to draw all the parts of the face in details in the upcoming videos .

See you soon guys .

Bye .
